The Le Mans Classic is justifiably recognised as one of the premier historic race meetings and continues to grow in popularity every time it takes place. An incredible collection of over 400 cars dating from 1923 to 1979 do what they were originally designed to by once again racing at Le Mans.

In 2012 we worked with the TVR Car Club to make arrangements for the largest ever gathering of TVRs in the Clubs Enclosure (200 cars) to help celebrate the 50th anniversary of TVR racing at Le Mans.

We are already making plans for the 2014 Le Mans Classic with the event organisers. Full details will be added here and on the TVR Car Club website as soon as they are available.

9-11 August 2013

The AvD Oldtimer GP at the legendary Nurburgring is one of Europe's largest historic racing festivals with approximately 650 cars competing over the 3 days.

Friday afternoon features one of the most daunting challenges in motorsport today – endurance racing using the combined lap of the modern Grand Prix circuit and the awesome Nordschleife or Northloop.

The dramatic elevation changes of the Northloop and lack of run off areas or high catch fencing result in spectacular views of the 100+ cars in each race.

The Saturday and Sunday action takes place on the modern circuit with races for a variety of categories including pre-war cars, GT's, Touring Cars, Sports Cars and Grand Prix cars.

One ticket gives access to all areas of the Grand Prix circuit and Northloop, including the atmospheric paddock where you can watch the cars being prepared while talking to their drivers and mechanics.

Other elements of a memorable weekend are the thousands of cars displayed in the clubs parking area and the fantastic roads between the German border and the circuit, which seem to have been designed with a sportscar in mind.

Camping

The official "Camping am Nurburgring" campsite is within walking distance of the main circuit entrance. Facilities include 2 restaurants, regularly cleaned showers and toilets plus a shop selling basic groceries. Pitches are unallocated but there is always plenty of space in this large campsite.

Calais

If you would like to break your journey, this hotel is ideally located in Calais and close to the motorway.

Adenau - Hotel Blaue Ecke

Very popular hotel located in central Adenau overlooking the market square.

TVR Car Club Exclusive Events

In 2013 we will be working with the German TVRCC again to offer UK members the chance to meet with fellow enthusiasts from around Europe.

24-26 May 2013

The 2012 Spa Classic built on the success of the inaugural event in 2011. In 2013 the same highly respected team who produce the Le Mans Classic will again be supplying grids packed with an excellent standard of historic cars including 1960's GTs, Group C and 1990's Formula 1 cars.

By walking a whole lap you will see why the section through Eau Rouge and Raidillon is so well known, then discover the descent into Pouhon and the very fast Blanchimont are equally as exciting. The best way to find out why racing drivers love this circuit so much is to take your own car on the track in one 30 minute sessions available over the weekend.

Your entrance ticket will give you access to all parts of the circuit including general admission, grandstands and paddock where you can watch the cars being prepared while talking to their drivers and mechanics.

Dedicated parking and display areas are available for car clubs and groups in the Clubs Enclosure. If you are part of a club or group and would like to get the most from the opportunities on offer at this event please contact us for more information.

If you would like to extend your journey to or from Spa on some wonderful routes through the Ardennes we can arrange accommodation in the Bouillon area and supply you with a range of satellite navigation files so you can concentrate on enjoying the driving.

Spa is conveniently close to the Nurburgring, which is only 60 miles away on some superb roads, making it possible to combine a weekend of Classic racing with some laps on the famous Nordschleife (subject to Nurgburgring 2013 events calendar).

You can extend your trip to enjoy a variety of wonderful routes available in the Ardennes (further details can be supplied by us when you book) and this family run 4* hotel is the perfect stopover on the way to or from Spa Francorchamps.

Depending on routes chosen the hotel is 4.5-6.0 hours drive from Calais and 2.5-4.5 hours drive from the Spa Francorchamps circuit.

Located 10 minutes drive from the circuit this privately owned campsite offers good facilities and the option of electrical hook up (a small charge for this is payable on arrival at the campsite). The local supermarket is within walking distance.

Excellent 4* hotel 20 minutes drive from the Spa Francorchamps circuit. This package offers incredible value and is our most popular hotel.

Spa – Radisson Blu Palace Hotel

New 4* hotel 15 minutes drive from the Spa Francorchamps circuit.

Spa – Radisson Blu Balmoral Hotel

Luxurious 4* hotel 15 minutes drive from the Spa Francorchamps circuit. You will have access to the Balmoral Wellness Centre where spa treatments can be booked separately.

Liege – Ramada Plaza Hotel

4* hotel 35 minutes drive from the Spa Francorchamps circuit. The hotel is walking distance from the city centre making this a perfect choice for those with travelling companions who do not want to spend the whole weekend at the circuit.

TVR Car Club Exclusive Events

In 2013 we are be building on our successful partnership with TVRCC and for the first time we will be making arrangements for members to attend the Spa Classic.

We are aware that many TVRCC members and their friends do not actually own a TVR so as well as a dedicated TVR parking / display area in the Clubs Enclosure we will also be arranging an area for other marques to congregate.

11-12 June 2011

The 24 Heures Du Mans is a festival of motor racing which lasts all week from scrutineering on Monday until the completion of the race on Sunday afternoon.

The race is a gruelling test for man and machine and victory here is something drivers with backgrounds in a wide range of motor racing disciplines are keen to add to their CV's.

This event is great value for money. One camping pass allows a car and passengers access to the campsites for the whole week and your entrance ticket will enable you to watch all of the action on the track, including practice and qualifying on Wednesday and Thursday.

Away from the circuit the bars and restaurants in Le Mans and the surrounding villages become packed with race fans. One particular focal point is the free parade of the drivers through Le Mans town centre on Friday evening which can be easily reached from the campsites at the circuit the efficient tram system.

A large number of the 250,000 crowd, including a huge British contingent, return year after year. Our keenly priced tickets and camping options make it easy for you to be one of them.
