The fun really begins today.

Some motorway is essential to cover the miles to Grenoble but the French autoroutes are a joy to use.

As with every day, there will be an opportunity to leave the motorway so you can experience some rural roads typical of France – flowing, a smooth surface and little traffic. Our custom files for your sat nav will make it easy for you to find your way allowing you to relax and enjoy the driving.

1 night, 3 course dinner, bed & breakfast.

Friday 24 April

Several routes will be offered today so you can decide how long you spend in the car. Whichever one you follow it will include sections of the famous Route Napoleon. This superb road has a smooth surface and meanders through some stunning scenery in the foothills of the Alps.

After arriving at your hotel on the Cote d'Azur you will not need to drive again until Monday.

1 night bed & breakfast.
Saturday 25 April

Watch the final qualifying sessions and the first races from your reserved grandstand seat. Your tickets also give you access to the race paddocks where you can get very close to the cars and team personnel.
Perhaps spend the evening soaking up the atmosphere around the circuit - the roads open approximately 2 hours after the racing finishes and they are soon full of exotic cars. For something quieter in Monaco go to the charming old town on top of the hill. This area is surrounded on 3 sides by the Mediterranean and there is a good selection of affordable bars and restaurants.

If you choose to stay in Nice the old town is a lovely place to find somewhere for dinner.

1 night bed & breakfast.

Sunday 26 April

A full day of racing in Monaco.

Today you will witness a priceless collection of Grand Prix cars being raced on the limit inches from the notorious Monaco barriers.

Monday 27 April

We start our journey north today. On the way to Lyon you will be able to enjoy driving through more wonderful scenery, this time in the Alpes-Maritimes.

Tuesday 28 April

Tonight we will be back at our first hotel.

To get there means going through the relatively unknown Morvan Region. You will soon find out for yourself why a leading motorcycling magazine described this area as “…a beautiful, quiet corner of un-spoilt countryside, with lots of forests and hilly pastures. And loads of fantastic snaky, sinuous roads just like all your best B roads".

1 night, dinner, bed & breakfast.

Wednesday 29 April
