Opening links to Google Maps from the Tour Document on mobile phones while travelling has always been problematic because Google usually defaults to the direct route.  The images shown here are not for navigating but to give you an overall idea of where the routes take you.​

You can open the original Google link by clicking on the number/name but, as said above, if using a mobile phone after the tour has started this might not exactly match the .gpx file in your sat nav.  Clicking on the image will open a larger version.  

 

To see a more detailed overview of each route you are advised to use your sat nav.
