TVR S Club Eurotour Itinerary

Friday 5 September

Your first hotel is 2.5 hours from Calais.  This is not too far if you've had a long drive in the UK but far enough into France to ensure there is plenty of time for lots of excellent roads tomorrow instead of long motorway miles.

You will have the choice of joining some of group for the Channel crossing or you can make your own way to the hotel and meet everyone there.

Saturday 6 September

The fun really begins today.

After a short stretch of motorway we will be in Burgundy and heading for the relatively unknown Morvan Region.  You will soon find out for yourself why a leading motorcycling magazine described this area as “…a beautiful, quiet corner of un-spoilt countryside, with lots of forests and hilly pastures. And loads of fantastic snaky, sinuous roads just like all your best B roads".

Sunday 7 September

Tonight's hilltop hotel in Switzerland has a stunning view of a lake and the mountains.  The peaceful location means the only thing you will hear while enjoying a pre-dinner drink on the terrace is the excited chatter of your travelling companions reflecting on a great day's driving, with the occasional cow bell in the background.

To get there our custom files for your sat nav will guide you along carefully chosen routes through the Jura and the foothills of the Alps towards Interlaken.  This is another day of making memories on wonderful roads that very few people apart from the locals will know about.  â€‹

Monday 8 September

This is the big one, the day which might just become the best you have ever spent in your car.

Not long after leaving the hotel we will start climbing to the summit of the mighty Susten Pass at 7414 ft above sea level.  This will be followed by the Furka, Grimsel, Nufenen and Gotthard passes.  After that little lot the total elevation you will have gained today is approximately 47,000 feet!

At the end of the day we will be arrive at our next hotel back in France.

Tuesday 9 September

To make sure the rest of the tour will not be an anti climax after the exhilaration of yesterday, today starts with some of the best roads we have ever driven.

The fabulous Vosges Mountains are somewhere most people completely ignore as they rush to get to or from the Channel ports as quickly as possible.  This area is extremely popular at weekends with motorcyclists for good reason so we have deliberately planned to be here on a Monday when the roads will be empty.

In the afternoon we will have an easy drive to our final hotel in Reims.

Wednesday 10 September

We will say our farewells this morning and begin our journey home.
