Historic Monaco Grand Prix Tour Itinerary

Wednesday 22 April - Monday 27 April

Please refer to the Group Tour itinerary here.

Monday 27 April - to Nimes

Direct route 186 miles in 3 hours 23 minutes

This modern 4 star hotel, which is located in the centre of Nimes and within walking distance of the main attractions, was fully renovated earlier this year.

Like all of the hotels with their own car park in this area, the one at this hotel is small and a place cannot be guaranteed.  If it is full the Arènes underground car park is only 50 metres away (this is where most of the central hotels send their guests to).  You will be able to check in and drop your bags off before parking your car.

Tuesday 28 April - in Nimes

Wednesday 29 April - to Carcassonne

Direct route 126 miles in 2 hours 15 minutes

A 4 star hotel on the banks of the River Aude in the heart of the historic Bastide Saint-Louis district with wonderful views of the medieval city.  There is a secure private car park under the hotel.

Thursday 30 April - in Carcassonne

Friday 1 May - to Saint Emilion

Direct route 201 miles in 3 hours 35 minutes

This afternoon you will have time to explore the Bordeaux vineyards before arriving at your next hotel.  Being in the centre of Saint Emilion means there are plenty of restaurants nearby where you can sample the local wines with dinner.

The hotel offer the option of a 1 hour vineyard tour (with tasting).  This needs to be booked in advance.

Saturday 2 May - to Gennes-Val-de-Loire

Direct route 199 miles 3 hours 48 minutes

A terrace with panoramic views of the Loire River and a gastronomic restaurant make this luxurious hotel a wonderful place to stay.

This is a popular place and because it is a Saturday night you are recommended to book a table for dinner before you arrive.

Sunday 3 May - to Honfleur

Direct route 179 miles in 3 hours 11 minutes

Your route to Honfleur takes you close to Le Mans.  A morning coffee at the famous Hotel de France and/or a visit to the museum at the circuit are good places to break your journey.

The charming hotel has been converted from a 17th century convent.  From here it is a short walk to the harbour where there are many restaurants selling the traditional fruits de mer which is perfect with a bottle of chilled muscadet.

Monday 4 May - to Bermicourt

Direct route 135 miles in 2 hours 35 minutes

This is an ideal place to relax at the end of your tour; rustic French comfort at its best and not far from Calais.

Unfortunately the restaurant is closed on Mondays but the owners have recently purchased, renovated and opened a brasserie 2 miles away which will be open.

Tuesday 5 May - to Calais

Direct route 50 miles in 1 hour 13 minutes
